The Product

Laddersmart is a unique safety device that secures ladders to roofs helping to prevent accidents and falls. It also protects gutters from damage caused by ladders leaning against them.

Ladder Safety Recommendations

The following points are recommendations made by WorkCover:

• Make sure ladder has secure level footings
• Set the ladder at a slope of approximately 4 in 1
• One should always have three limbs on the ladder at all times
• Any ladder used near power lines should be made of non-conducting material
• Never climb higher than the third rung from the top of the ladder
• Ladders should be firmly secured or tied off. The ties should be attached to the stiles of the ladder, not the rungs.
